Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $3,031 per week

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Job Description & Requirements

ICU Float Pool RN 16-26 Weeks

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience and prior travel experience
• Experience at a large teaching hospital with 500+ beds
• Epic experience within the past 2 years-nonnegotiable
• Strong critical care experience: multisystem disease, CRRT, IABP, ECMO, ventilators, and multiple titratable drips
• Patient populations include post-cardiac surgery, vascular, Level I trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, and MICU overflow
• Document specific hemodynamic device experience and typical patient populations in submission

Unit & Floating

• Primarily Medical ICU with neuro overflow
• Required floating to SICU, Miller 3, and Miller 4
• Travelers float first; may float outside their assigned POD to units matching their skills, ED boarders, and surge areas
• Must independently start IVs, manage multiple titratable drips, and provide ventilator care

Certifications

• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• NIHSS must be completed before start
• CCRN preferred

Scheduling

• Minimum every other weekend; additional flexibility required based on unit needs
• Must work 2 of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• No block schedules
• Biweekly Monday orientations
• Any solid-color scrubs

Submission & Travel Rules

• Explain employment gaps exceeding 90 days
• Complete work history required, including bed counts, EMR, and facility type
• Rate tiers use straight-line distance: Travel 101+ miles; Radius 51-100 miles; Local 50 miles or less
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
• All-season or snow tires recommended November-April
