Location: Columbia, Missouri (65201)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM 48 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join its Float Pool. This position requires flexibility to float across multiple medical-surgical specialties while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

• Medical-Surgical
• Cardiac
• Orthopedic
• Surgical
• Neurology
• Oncology

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients
• Float to various Med-Surg specialty units as needed
• Monitor patients on remote telemetry
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• IV insertion
• PICC/Central line management
• Vascular access and device care
• Remote telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Traction
• CPM machines
• Epidural/PCA pumps
• Feeding tubes

Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• Recent Med-Surg acute care experience
