Medical Oncology PCU RN D/N Rotating Auto Offer

• Medical Oncology/PCU unit with high-acuity oncology and telemetry patients
• Auto Offer position
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience and 1-year PCU experience required
• Rotating Days/Nights based on unit needs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Ratios: 1:3 PCU 1:4-5 Med-Surg/Telemetry
• Experience with high-acuity PCU patients required
• Float to equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed
• Previous travel experience preferred

Required Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Central lines, PICC lines, ports, IV starts
• Blood product administration
• Heparin protocols and cardiac drips
• PCA pumps, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC
• Tracheostomy management
• ABG interpretation
• Rapid response experience

• Solid Tumor Oncology
• Orthopedic Oncology
• Thoracic Oncology

Unit Highlights

• 36-bed Oncology Telemetry unit with 24+ PCU beds
• Pediatric patients are rare; pediatric experience not required
• Strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention
