Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,810 per week

Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Edmonds, Washington.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Work in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Newborn care units.
- Required to float between units as needed.
- Manage patient diagnoses including labor and delivery, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and normal newborns.
- Perform special procedures such as:
- Vaginal and Cesarean deliveries
- Circulate in operating room (OR)
- Start adult IVs
- Administer blood and blood products
- Manage drains, epidural pumps, and PCA pumps
- Administer insulin and magnesium sulfate
- Handle special equipment related to:
- Circulate C/S (Cesarean Section)
- High and low risk antepartum/L&D
- LDRP, OB-GYN, and couplet care (Post-Op/Pre-Op)
- Certification requirements:
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
- Preferred skills:
- Circulating in OR
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- IV start proficiency
- Staffing ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
- Must have 2 years of experience in LDRP, L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn care.
- All Swedish facilities accept active compact license.
- Former Providence-affiliated employees must have a 3-month separation before qualifying for travel positions.
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
