Shift: Night Shift - 3 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Postpartum Experience: Preferred

Job Requirements

• Experience caring for labor and delivery patients, including high-risk obstetric cases.

• Experience circulating during cesarean sections.

• Ability to provide care to a culturally diverse patient population.

• Weekend availability required based on staffing needs.

• Floating required to meet facility needs; travelers are the first to float within their scope of practice.

• California RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted.

• Requested time off (RTO): No more than 7 days.

Required Certifications

• BLS

• NRP

• AWHONN Intermediate

• ACLS (preferred)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.

• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and identify potential complications.

• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate during cesarean sections.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring maternal and fetal responses.

• Provide patient and family education regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
