Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Progressive Care / Stepdown Registered Nurse for a 14-week travel assignment in Fort Myers, Florida. This opportunity offers competitive weekly compensation with 36- or 48-hour scheduling options and 12-hour day shifts.

Assignment Highlights

• Location: Fort Myers, FL

• Specialty: Progressive Care / Stepdown (PCU)

• Assignment Duration: 14 weeks

• Start Date: January, 2027

• Shift: 12-hour days

• Schedule Options: 3 or 4 shifts per week

• Scheduled Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

• Patient Ratios: 1:4 to 1:5

• Overtime: Begins after 40 hours

• Call: No call required

• Floating: Required, including floating to other units and sister campuses. Travelers are first to float.

Weekly Compensation

36-Hour Schedule

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,350

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $540

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,810

48-Hour Schedule

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,117

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,066

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $2,051

Experience & Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience

• BLS certification required

• ACLS certification required

• Epic EMR experience

• Travel experience preferred

• Must be flexible with floating requirements

• A 50-mile radius rule applies
