Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to support patient care and work closely with a collaborative diagnostic imaging team. Your expertise in interventional radiology nursing will ensure safe patient procedures and optimal clinical outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Experience in interventional radiology or related acute care environments
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in assisting with interventional radiology procedures, including patient monitoring and sedation protocols
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout invasive imaging or therapeutic procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and technologists to facilitate safe and effective procedures
• Manage conscious sedation, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation
• Educate patients and families on procedure details, pre- and post-care instructions
• Uphold infection control standards and maintain a safe clinical environment
