Job Summary:

A Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN Psych) provides nursing care to patients experiencing mental health conditions, emotional disorders, and behavioral issues. The nurse supports patients through assessment, medication management, crisis intervention, and therapeutic communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' mental health conditions and monitor their behavior.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor their effects.
• Monitor patients for changes in mental and physical health.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Manage psychiatric emergencies and crisis situations.
• Assess patients for suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and risk of harm to others.
