Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse - Travel Contract

Location: Community Hospital - Ithaca, NY
Facility: 7 Operating Rooms
Contract: 13 Weeks
Charting: EPIC

Shift Options:

• 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM
• 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM

Department & Specialties:

Community Hospital has 7 ORs supporting a variety of specialties, including:

• Neurology
• Plastics
• ENT
• Breast
• General Surgery
• GYN
• Urology
• Orthopedics
• Vascular
• Endoscopy

Call Requirements:

• Approximately 3-4 weeknight calls per 8-week period
• One 24-hour weekend call per 8-week period
• Weeknight call: 9 PM - 7 AM
• Weekend call: 7 AM - 7 AM
• Holiday call is required
• Call frequency may fluctuate based on staffing needs.

Requirements:

• Active NY RN license
• Recent Pre-Op and/or PACU nursing experience
• Strong assessment, recovery, and perioperative nursing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
