Travel Registered Nurse - Correctional - $2,380 per week

Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week night-shift travel contract at a correctional facility in Las Animas, CO.

Multiple openings, 3x12s, 36 hours per week guaranteed. W-2 employment with a weekly tax-free housing and meals stipend for candidates who qualify.

Weekly package: $31.50/hr base plus $1,246/week stipend, about $2,380/week. Overtime paid after 40 hours.

Duties include assessments, medication administration, sick call, emergency response, and documentation for an incarcerated population.

Requirements:

• Active RN license with Colorado authorization (Colorado is a compact state; a multistate license from a compact home state qualifies)
• Current BLS
• Correctional, ER, or inpatient experience preferred
• Valid driver's license (required for ID at this facility; passports are not accepted)
• Permanent address more than 70 miles from the facility to qualify for the stipend

Standard correctional background clearance, no federal ICE clearance required. Drug screen and TB are completed onsite at the facility, so onboarding moves quickly once your documents are in. Most candidates start within two to three weeks of offer.
