Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $728 per week

Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Must not be a previous employee of St. Mary's
- Local travelers will receive a $10/hr lower local rate
- Candidates with license or background actions/hits will not be accepted
- Must be willing and able to work as charge nurse and preceptor if needed
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
- Responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process in all areas of the unit
- Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay
- Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood products as needed
- Provide patient education on relevant topics
- Accurately document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses
- Work in a fast-paced environment including a full-service Emergency Center and Chest Pain Center
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required
