Internal Job Description

Day/Night, 12-hr shifts with every other weekend rotation and holidays as needed.

Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
EPIC Experience required

WI RN or compact RN license required
BLS required - AHA ONLY
Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
Shift Information: Day (3x12 Hours) 7 30 / Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30

1. Floating: Travelers are required to float as needed.
2. Local Rule: 50 miles from the facility. Locals not accepted.
3. Minimum experience: Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to.
4. References: please remove all references.
5. Pass/Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria.
   • A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts:
     • Adult Exam:
       • 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole
       • No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks 1 incorrect answer will cause failure
       • Passing score of 80% or higher
     • Pediatric Exam
       • Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia
       • Passing score of 80% or higher
   • Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
