Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare institution, is looking for an RN - Emergency Department to start right away in New Haven, CT. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural offerings.Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to patient messages through the electronic in-basket.
• Provide patient education related to oncology diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Perform phone triage and determine appropriate follow-up or escalation in the outpatient oncology clinic setting.
• Coordinate care, including tests, referrals, and appointments, to support the patient's plan of care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team to address patient needs and maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient oncology setting.
• Experience with phone triage and care coordination.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy and oncology patient care.
