ICU RN - Neuro/Trauma ICU Job Summary

Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Start Date: ASAP

Unit Highlights

• Level II Trauma Center
• Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
• High-acuity Neuro ICU population
• STEMI Receiving Center
• CABG/Valve patients
• IABP, CRRT, Sepsis, Surgical ICU patients
• Cardiovascular, Multi-Trauma, Gunshot Wounds, Stroke, STEMI, MVA, and Orthopedic cases
• Additional 12 overflow beds

Requirements

• Strong Neuro ICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Must be comfortable caring for high-acuity neuro, cardiac, trauma, and critical care patients

Certifications Required

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• LA Fire Card

Schedule & Floating

• No on-call
• No weekend requirement
• Traveler may float to:
  • PCU
  • ICU Overflow

License & Local Policy

• Locals accepted with pay difference
• Pending license not accepted
• RTO must be disclosed at submission

• Scrubs: Any color (L&D and OR scrubs provided)

Must Have: Strong Neuro ICU experience, 2+ years ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, LA Fire Card, and ability to manage stroke, trauma, STEMI, CABG, CRRT, and other high-acuity critical care patients.
