Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,520 per week

Job Summary (ER RN):

- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Patient ratios: 1 RN to 5 patients, mixed/shared acuity
- Block scheduling may be accommodated (not guaranteed)
- Local candidates not accepted (must live 75+ miles away)
- No pending licenses accepted; must have active license
- Minimal requested time off (RTO) preferred
- Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
- Float to other units when census requires
- Work every other weekend
- Required skills:
- General adult/pediatric emergency care
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Multi-system organ dysfunction/failure management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Phlebotomy and IV starts
- Continuous IV paralytics and sedation
- Emergency medication administration
- IV vasopressors
- Procedural sedation
- Stroke (CVA) care
- Isolation precautions
- Preferred experience with Epic charting
- Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
