Job Summary (ER RN):

- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of ER RN experience
- First-time Travelers Accepted: Yes
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels
- Block Scheduling: May be accommodated, but not guaranteed
- Locals Accepted: No (must live more than 75 miles from facility)
- Pending License: Not accepted
- Requested Time Off (RTO): Minimal RTO preferred
- Mandatory Skills:
- Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
- General Emergency Department (Adult/Pediatric) care
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Administration of continuous IV paralytics and sedation
- Emergency medication and IV vasopressor administration
- Procedural sedation
- Stroke (CVA) care
- Isolation precautions
- Floating: Required when census warrants
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Charting System: Epic (preferred)
- Scrub Color: Any combination of navy and white

Med Ninjas Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
