Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,752 per week

Job Summary (List Format):

- Location: Local candidates at same rate; Perm candidates from non-Swedish Providence facilities eligible for travel contract if separated for 3+ months
- Licensure: All Swedish facilities accept active compact RN licenses
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience, must have high-risk experience
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays as needed; posted every 6 weeks
- Approved Time Off: Case-by-case basis
- Float Requirement: Must float to Postpartum/Antepartum and possibly sister facilities with Mother/Baby units
- Patient Population: Midwifery clients, private OBs, adult recovery (substance use), community clinic patients
- Clinical Documentation: Must use EPIC; experience with electronic fetal monitoring valued
- Staffing Standards: Follows AWHONN guidelines
- Unit Type: High risk, high volume Labor & Delivery (L&D); 4 operating rooms
- Essential Skills:
- Able to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Baby Nurse role during delivery and care of newborn until postpartum transfer (required)
- Circulate in OR (required)
- Newborn care (NB care): eyes, thighs (Vitamin K and erythromycin), assessment
- Medication administration: Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate
- Unit Stats:
- Average Census: 15/day
- Deliveries: 500-600/month
- Rooms/Beds: 31
- Certifications:
- Required: BLS, NRP
- Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
- Other Notes:
- Do not submit candidates without baby nurse or circulate experience (hard stop)
- Staffing and procedures follow industry best practices and guidelines
