Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $1,955 per week

Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Quickly interviewing viable candidates: Phone call/text from a 405 area code As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR: EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ./hr
• Charge/Precept: ./hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market, no matter which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply Local Radius rule: No locals - All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license) Dress Code: Navy Blue

Orientation Date(s): 11/9, 11/23, 12/7

Winter Holidays: Traveler will be required to work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). Limit of 1 day off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.

8SE Unit Details:

• Types of patients/surgeries: prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, thyroidectomy, etc.
• Drips Administered: Heparin
• General medical/surgical floor, taking care of post-op patients that require overnight stays.

Submission Requirements

• 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience - required
• Epic experience - required
• First-time traveler okay
• The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Med Surg/Tele) - required document
• 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years - required document
• Nursys must state Active Iowa/IA or compact nursing license - required document
• Active BLS (AHA Preferred; Will also accept ARC or US Military certificates) - required document
• Active NIHSS certification - required document
• Driver's License - required document
