Position Details

• Role: RN-Psychiatric - Adult
• Facility: Springfield Hospital
• Location: 25 Ridgewood Rd, Springfield, VT 05156
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
• Shift: Night (5x8) (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• hours: 40 hours per week

Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatry

• Submission Requirement: All requested time off and scheduling preferences must be disclosed, verified, and included in the profile at the time of submission.
• Post-Submission Requests: RTO or scheduling requests submitted after profile upload or offer will not be accepted. Failure to disclose requests upfront may result in the offer being rescinded.

Required Clinical Experience

• Psychiatric Nursing: Minimum 2 years of current psychiatric nursing experience required.
• Phlebotomy: Current, hands-on phlebotomy experience is mandatory. The traveler must be comfortable performing blood draws.
• Travel Experience: Preferred.
• Small/Critical Access Facility Experience: Preferred.
• ACLS and CPI: Strongly preferred.

• RN/Psychiatry Skills Checklist: Completed within the past year.
• Phlebotomy Skills Checklist: Completed within the past year.
• Supervisory Reference: One signed supervisory reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Vermont RN License: Current, active license copy must be uploaded with the profile.
• BLS Certification: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.

Required Certifications

• BLS: American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS: American Heart Association (AHA)-strongly preferred.

Maximum RTO: No more than 5 days will be accepted; fewer days are preferred. Christmas Week: RTO will not be approved for December 22-28.
