Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,275 per week

Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Position on a Medical-Surgical (MS) Stroke Stepdown unit
- Care for adult patients with diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, infections requiring isolation, general med-surg, pneumonia, and other pulmonary conditions
- Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
- Work on a 64-bed unit
- Night shift: 6:30pm - 7:00am (block scheduling not guaranteed)
- Floating to other units required
- Required to wear navy blue scrubs
- Documentation required: up-to-date resume with 2+ years MS/stroke stepdown & travel RN experience, skills checklist, valid driver's license, current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications, NURSYS license verification with active NY RN license and all other active RN licenses
- NIHSS certification required (may be obtained prior to start)
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application
- Local candidates accepted at local rate (within 75 miles)
- Patient population: Adults only

Med Ninjas Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
